Biography

Jimmy Sherfy is a LGBT cosplayer, drag performer, and business owner in San Diego, CA. His princely charm and retro anime looks have helped earn him a loyal following of 22K+ fans on Instagram. Taking his love of costumes, he runs his own character for hire company (Epic Character Parties) where he books himself and others for events, birthday parties, and charity fundraisers.

Jimmy performs with his various cosplay looks in drag shows across Southern California and beyond. Even bringing his own cosplay drag show, “Haus of Cosplay” to conventions and pride events. With 15 years of cosplaying, Jimmy has been a guest at a number of conventions and participated on many panels at cons that promote equality in cosplay, genderbending, LGBTQIA+ issues, and has appeared on MTV’s True Life series.

Favorite Jem Memory

Jimmy has been a huge fan of Jem, an avid vintage toy collector, and lover all things 80, which inspires all of his art and performances.

.Before all the cosplay and drag glitz & glam, Jimmy’s last (and first!) JemCon visit was in 2008 in Los Angeles and he’s absolutely stoked for it to return to California in San Diego!
