Registration is open all day Friday, so there's no need to rush and no long lines to worry about.
The Welcome Reception is a casual see-and-be-seen affair with refreshments, perfect for catching up with old friends and meeting new ones before the weekend gets going.
Stay the whole time or pop in and out as you please.
6:00- 7:30 Rock Fashion Runway

Making its JemCon debut this year, the Rock Fashion Runway takes its name straight from the episode "The Rock Fashion Book." Emerging and established designers walk their Jem-inspired creations down the runway in a showcase of wearable art, attitude, and boundary-pushing design, capped off with a performance from Samantha Newark and Britta Phillips.
8:00- 10:00 Starlight Welcome Mixer
Hosted by Nick and Roxy
The yearly Friday night get-together that JemCon attendees have come to love. Karaoke, trivia, games, and a room full of the sparkliest people you'll meet all year.

A fan-only, unscripted space to talk Jem and The Holograms, The Misfits, The Stingers, and everything in between. No agenda beyond real conversation, hot takes, and deep dives from the people who know this fandom best.
10:00- 11:30 Beauty and the Holo-Glam: Makeup Workshop
Led by Darian Darling, with live models Britta and Samantha. Moderated by Roxy Tart
A hands-on beauty masterclass covering the tricks and techniques behind an iconic Jem look. Darian Darling is leading this beauty masterclass with live models Britta and Samantha showing you exactly how it's done. Follow along with your own makeup or watch the live demonstration.
11:30- 12:30 Panel: Feelin Fabulous Cosplay
Join San Diego’s cosplay king & magical girl extraordinaire, Jimmy Sherfy & Hello KoKo as they discuss still cosplaying as our favorite 80s icons in 2026. How to get started, tips, tricks, and all the fun!

1:30- 2:30 Panel: Sophisticated Ladies: Voice Actor Panel
Samantha Newark, Britta Phillips, and Bettina Bush Moderated by John Henry
The voices of Jem, Jerrica, and Rainbow Brite sit down together to talk about a career spent making cartoons. Candid stories from three of the most beloved names in animation history, and one of the weekend's don't-miss panels.
2:30-3:30 Panel: Rockin' Rivals: Jem & Barbie Take the Stage
Dina Al Rifai, Stefanie Eskander, and Scott Woodward · Moderated by Rachel Pankiw
A behind-the-scenes look at how Jem dolls and collectables have been made over the years and for the first time ever at JemCon an inside look into how Barbie and the Rockers came to life and gave Jem some serious competition on the shelves. With new merchandise coming out for both lines 40 years later it’s a perfect time to revisit these iconic toy lines and the designers who brought them to life.
3:30- 5:00 Panel: Mind Games: The Men of Jem
Townsend Coleman and Dan Gilvezan, w/special guest Charlie Adler.· Moderated by Nicholas Romero
The men of the Jem universe were messy, dramatic, and beloved for it. Their voices come together for a candid conversation with plenty of questions for the people behind Riot, Sean Harrison, Eric Raymond, and Techrat.

6:00- 7:30 All In The Style: Cosplay Pageant
Hosted by Belle Pepper and Tivia
JemCon's yearly cosplay contest returns with two categories. All In The Style celebrates Jem-themed outfits and fashions inspired by the cartoon, dolls, comics, or original designs that capture the spirit of Jem and the Holograms. Misfits Mashup is all about Jem combined with something else, so mashups, crossovers, and creative combinations are encouraged. Entries close September 1.
8:00- 10:00 LeKlub Kool Dance Party
Dance the night away at Klub Kool. A high-energy close to Saturday night for anyone ready to hit the floor.

9:00- 10:00 Puttin’ It All Together: Doll Accessories Make & Take Workshop
Led by JEM Holographic Moderated by Corrine
A hands-on workshop where attendees create their own custom doll accessories to take home.
10:00- 11:00 Panel: Sunday Morning Cartoons
With Britta and Samantha
Pajamas encouraged. Britta and Samantha provide live commentary over classic Jem episodes while everyone watches together, cereal in hand. The coziest hour of the weekend.
11:00- 12:30 Like A Dream: Autograph Session
Every guest* at JemCon signs autographs on the official convention poster at no charge. A relaxed, low-pressure chance to meet the people who brought Jem to life.
12:00- 1:30 Lunch Break
1:30- 2:30 Panel: Music Is Magic: Remixing the Beat of a Generation
Anne Bryant, Garth Jensen, and Jared Jones w/special guest Ellen Bernfeld
A deep dive into remixing, production, and the music that shaped Jem's sound and, by extension, a generation of fans. For anyone who's ever wondered what was happening behind the boards.
2:30- 3:30 Panel: Mood I’m In: Jem’s Aesthetic History
Led by Darian Darling. Moderated by Roxy Tart
An exploration of how pop culture shaped the visual identity of Jem and the Holograms, from design choices to creative inspiration. For anyone who has ever been a little obsessed with the aesthetics (no judgment, we all have).
3:30- 5:30 Love Unites Us: Charity Auction & The Future of JemCon
Hosted by Garth Jensen
JemCon's annual charity auction, benefiting the San Diego LGBT Community Center this year. Bid on standout items, support a great cause, and hear what's ahead for the future of JemCon.
5:30- 6:30 Dinner Break
6:30- 10:00 Let’s Blow This Town: Pool Party
JemCon's closing event: a full pool takeover to send the weekend off right. One last chance to relax, splash around, and celebrate with your fellow Jemtourage before everyone heads home.
