Role: Music Producer - Hologram 2.0 with Samantha Newark
Appearing: All three days
Biography
Jared Jones is a seasoned music producer and entertainment professional with over 25 years of experience. He has produced and remixed for renowned artists including RuPaul, Pet Shop Boys, Solange Knowles, Samantha Newark, and the late Ari Gold. He is the creator behind Manila Luzon's original tracks "The Chop" (featuring Latrice Royale) and "Bring It!" (featuring Jinkx Monsoon). His extensive work within the Drag Race universe earned him the title "The King of Queens," bestowed by RuPaul himself.
Jared is the producer behind Hologram 2.0, a remix album of Samantha Newark's solo album "Hologram." The collaboration took Samantha's original music and reimagined it with Jared's production expertise, creating fresh interpretations that introduced her work to new audiences while giving longtime fans something exciting and different.
His first commercial release was the remix of Taylor Dayne's single "How Many" (released on Emerge/Centaur Entertainment, October 2002). He owns and operates JRED Music, his own record label, where he continues to produce and release music from a diverse roster of artists.
In addition to his music career, Jared is a proud member of the Virginia Pride Committee and the OutRVA Advisory Committee. He hosts weekly Ball of Fire Entertainment trivia nights across Richmond, Virginia, and the surrounding areas.
Jared is currently working on his first solo album, a dance/pop project that will feature the late Ari Gold (singing voice of BaNee). The album will be released in 2026, with vinyl copies and exclusive posters available at JemCon 2026.
