Biography

Dina Al Rifai is a creative director, toy designer, and lifelong toy collector with a deep passion for collectibles, character brands, and art. With over a decade of experience in the toy industry, Dina has worked across product development, branding, packaging, licensing, and creative direction, helping bring beloved characters and original concepts to life for fans of all ages.

As Creative Director at The Loyal Subjects, Dina has contributed to a wide range of collectible and licensed toy lines spanning animation, gaming, retro properties, and fan-favorite franchises. Known for blending strong visual storytelling with an authentic understanding of fandom culture, her work is heavily inspired by classic 80s and 90s animation and the emotional connection people have with toys and collectibles.

At JemCon, Dina is excited to celebrate the enduring legacy of Jem and the Holograms alongside fellow fans and creators, sharing her love for colorful storytelling, iconic character aesthetics, and the magic that made Jem truly outrageous.

When she’s not working on toys, Dina can usually be found traveling, playing video games, reading, or adding more toys to her collection.
