Bettina Bush is a dynamic force in the world of children’s entertainment, with a career that began when she was just a child herself. Her unmistakable voice brought to life beloved characters like Rainbow Brite and Megan from My Little Pony, cementing her status as a pop culture staple for a generation of fans. Bettina’s early years were spent in sound studios, where she honed her talents in voice acting and music, lending her voice to everything from animated series like Rugrats, Ben 10, and Madagascar, video games like Final Fantasy, and Age of Empires, to classic children’s albums such as Paint a Rainbow in Your Heart and Minnie & Me, many of which are certified Gold. Her work reflects a lifelong commitment to storytelling that uplifts and inspires young audiences.

In addition to her success as a voice actress, Bettina has thrived across multiple areas of the entertainment and media landscape. She reinvented herself as a recording artist, winning American Idol Underground, touring nationally and landing two Top 5 hits on the Billboard charts. Her passion for parenting and family-centered storytelling led her to host national radio programs like Parenting Magazine Live! and the digital series The Motherhood Corner, where she gave voice to real-world issues affecting modern families. As Editor-at-Large for Working Mother magazine, she used her platform to champion diversity, inclusion, and equality in the workplace—an extension of her ongoing advocacy for underrepresented voices both in front of and behind the microphone.

Today, Bettina continues to expand her influence as a producer, author, and media personality. Her latest children's album, Once Upon a Rainbow, is a current fan favorite with adults and kids alike. A vibrant, joy-filled celebration of imagination, kindness, and diversity, combining original songs with meaningful messages for today’s families, her album also features Bettina’s children - daughter Cassie created the album artwork and sings on one track, while son Jesse raps on another. Complementing the album, her new book co-authored with NFL Superbowl champion Keyshawn Johnson, Once Upon a You empowers children to embrace their individuality and inner strength through a beautifully written and illustrated story. Favorite Jem Memory

My favorite jem memory is that samantha newark and i go wayyyy back! when we were kids, we were in a musical theater production of the wizard of oz in Hollywood at barnsdall park. i was a little munchkin to her teenaged dorothy! i looked up to her so much, and will always remember her kindness, generosity and encouragement...she hasn't changed a bit!
