Larry F. Houston is the Emmy-nominated Producer/Director of the 1992 THE X-MEN animated show, the phenomenally successful 90s series that expanded and laid the foundation for Marvel’s multi-billion-dollar MCU franchise. He is a San Diego Comic Con Inkpot Award Winner in Animation and is currently working for Disney/Marvel Studios as a Consultant Producer on X-MEN ’97.

Working for DC Comics and Marvel, he drew covers for the new X-MEN #1, THE X-LIVES of WOLVERINE, GI JOE SATURDAY MORNING ADVENTURES #4, a homage cover for HULK #6, featuring the very first appearance of Wolverine from Incredible Hulk #181, DC Comics ALL-STAR SQUANDRON, and interior stories in MARVEL VOICES: Legacy #1. He drew several HE-MAN Mini-Comics for MATTEL.

As a Writer, he wrote “SWARM” from Spiderman and his Amazing Friends and “HEARTS AND CANNONS” for the GI JOE syndicated series.

His Storyboard Artist career includes: JEM, Thundarr, Static Shock, Spiderman and his Amazing Friends, ExoSquad, Transformers, Spawn, Mr. T, Batman, Real Ghostbusters, Conan, Swamp Thing, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mighty Orbots, Bionic Six, Visionaries, Hulk, Defenders of the Earth and many more 80s and 90s adventure shows.

He has worked closely with JemCon alum including Will Meugniot, Keith Tucker, Rick Hoberg, and Christy Marx. He is looking forward to making his debut appearance at JemCon 2024 Free and Easy in Phoenix and meeting all of the truly outrageous Jem fans!
