DARIAN DARLING is a lifelong JEM fan and collector, who created JEM Grrrlz!, one of the internet’s first fansites, when she was a teenager in 1990s. DARIAN began her artistry career in the early 2000s, assisting the world’s top makeup artists backstage at Fashion Week in New York and Europe, while also being immersed in the vibrant underground NYC nightlife scene.

There she wrote a popular lifestyle/beauty blog and a nightlife column for Patrick McMullen’s website, the iconic NYC party/event photographer. Absorbing the creativity in the fashion world as well as nightclubs, Darian, an avid fashion & beauty historian, has developed her own bold and modern yet retro approach to color and glamour. 

She is ecstatic to be making her debut appearance at JemCon and is looking forward to mingling with fellow Jem fans.
