We are thrilled to announce that Georgina Melone (Former VP of Innovation at Hasbro from 2014-2022) will be attending at JemCon 2023!

Gina is a 30+ year toy designer whose career spans the full spectrum of the toy, play, and entertainment industry. She began her career as a character designer at Hasbro working closely with fellow JemCon guests Stefanie Eskander and Dena Quilici along with JemCon alum Gina Beebe and Carla Reiss. Throughout her career she worked in different capacities on numerous brands and properties, such as Playdoh, My Little Pony, Jem, Transformers and many more.

She stayed at Hasbro throughout most of her career, ultimately becoming a VP of Innovation leading efforts with a team that identified and inspired the best innovation from inside and outside the walls of Hasbro. In this role she managed and grew a 700M portfolio, leading cross-functional teams to reignite beloved brands for today’s world.

She brings a unique perspective in that she was at Hasbro when Jem first launched and was involved in recent innovation efforts, working closely with fellow JemCon guest Dena Quilici.

Gina has now entered her “Third Act” where she is pioneering her role as the Chief Creative behind Studio Big Rock. Her mischief making includes invention and consulting with individuals and corporations, demystifying innovation through design thinking and the making of play.

She is delighted to attend her first JemCon and reconnect with friends and colleagues and of course meet Jem fans!
