Fierce Drag Jewels makes The Finest Costume Jewelry in the world, made for Stage, Screen & Queen. They are best known as the official Crown Jeweler of RuPaul's Drag Race and have been a key staple in the performance and entertainment space for many years. Fun fact they are big Jem fans and naturally Jem helped inspire them to pursue a career filled with glitz and glamour. They will also have some Jem and the Holograms inspired ready to wear items available for sale on site at JemCon.

The JemCon 2023 Cosplay Contest is now open!
This year’s JemCon will feature TWO truly outrageous cosplay contests. One will be virtual and the other in-person at JemCon.

Everyone at JemCon is invited to dress up and have a great time at this year's masquerade disco! Be part of the cosplay pageant and costume contest Saturday night of JemCon at the start of the masquerade. Contestants will have their costume presentation scored by our judging panel as they model their outrageous costume live at the event! Group entries will be permitted, although a group will only count as one entry - no costume changes (meaning if you are part of a group, you will not compete as an individual also). In person entries will be accepted in advance OR at JemCon 2023.

If you can’t make it to Rhode Island, you can still be part of the fun with our virtual cosplay contest. Virtual cosplay entries must include 3-4 photos of the contestant modeling their cosplay (sent via email to jemconforever@gmail.com) and a completed entry form, both of which must be received no later than August 15, 2023.

Scores in each contest will be based on costume design, accuracy/craftsmanship and overall "universal appeal". Three winners will receive a truly outrageous sash of recognition and special awards will be acknowledged with certificates. Special note: cosplay contestants may enter one contest or the other (virtual or in-person), but not both.
