This year’s JemCon will feature TWO truly outrageous cosplay contests. One will be virtual and the other in-person at JemCon.

Everyone at JemCon is invited to dress up and have a great time at this year’s masquerade disco! Be part of the cosplay pageant and costume contest Saturday night of JemCon at the start of the masquerade. 

Contestants will have their costume presentation scored by our judging panel as they model their outrageous costume live at the event!

Group entries will be permitted, although a group will only count as one entry - no costume changes (meaning if you are part of a group, you will not compete as an individual also).

In person entries will be accepted at JemCon 2022.

Scoring

Scores in each contest will be based on costume design, accuracy/craftsmanship and overall “universal appeal”

Three winners will receive a truly outrageous sash of recognition and special awards will be acknowledged with certificates.  The winner of the virtual Cosplay pageant will also be announced at the convention on Saturday night.

Special note: cosplay contestants may enter one contest or the other (virtual or in-person), but not both.
